Job Description

As a Loan Officer, you will be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills in English and work night shifts from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am at the office. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing loan applications, evaluating the creditworthiness of borrowers, and managing the loan portfolio. - Processing loan applications by collecting and verifying necessary documentation from borrowers, such as income statements, proof of address, and credit reports. - Analyzing financial data to evaluate the creditworthiness of borrowers and preparing loan proposals for review by credit committees or managers. - Ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained before disbursing loans and coordinating with other departments, such as legal and operations, to complete the loan disbursement process. - Identifying and addressing potential risks associated with the loan portfolio and ensuring compliance with applicable banking regulations and guidelines. To qualify for this position, you should: - Hold a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. - Have a strong understanding of loan products and lending processes. - Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Showcase negotiation and persuasion skills. - Exhibit good knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements. - Be proficient in using computer applications, including loan processing software. In terms of customer acquisition, you will: - Actively seek out potential borrowers through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and referrals. - Educate customers about different loan products and their terms and conditions. - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster long-term loyalty.,
