Role Overview

LLM Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large distributed teams (20+) of Python, JavaScript, and Java developers.
• Oversee delivery of complex technical tasks with a focus on quality and timely execution.
• Collaborate closely with research partners to ensure satisfaction and alignment on deliverables.
• Establish and maintain rigorous code review and quality control processes.
• Drive project stability and delivery excellence from initiation through completion.
• Identify and implement improvements in code quality, workflow efficiency, and process optimization.
• Ensure clarity, precision, and technical soundness across all project outputs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years in an engineering management or technical leadership role.
• Strong background in

  Python

  and/or

  JavaScript

  (both preferred).
• Proven track record managing large, delivery-focused technical teams.
• Ability to be hands-on with technical work and resolve quality or process issues.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working with globally distributed teams.

Engagement Details

• Commitment:

  Full-time (8 hours/day) with at least 4 hours overlap with PST.

• Employment Type:

  Contractor (no medical or paid leave).

• Contract Duration:

  10 months.

• Evaluation Process:

  Two interview rounds (Technical – 60 mins, Leadership – 60 mins).
