Job Description

We are hiring for Linux Administrator Role.

Location: - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers (CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat, etc.).
Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Monitor server performance and resolve issues related to CPU, memory, disk usage, and system resources.
Security Management: Implement and enforce security policies, patching, and upgrades to ensure the systems are secure and up to date.
Backup and Recovery: Manage system backups and disaster recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Automation: Automate administrative tasks using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ansible.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve Linux-related system and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Collaboration: Work closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure efficient system integration and operation.
Documentation: Maintain system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Operating Systems: Strong experience with Linux distributions (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL).
Scripting: Proficiency in Bash, Python, or other scripting languages to automate tasks.
Networking: Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
Security: Understanding of firewalls, SELinux, iptables, and other security tools.
Storage Management: Experience with file systems, NFS, RAID, and LVM.
Web Servers: Familiarity with Apache, Nginx, or other web servers.
Version Control: Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus.
Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
Virtualization: Familiarity with virtualization tools such as VMware, KVM, or Docker is an advantage.

Should have passed B.E./ B.Tech/ M.Tech in any stream OR M.Sc.(IT)/ MCA or equivalent from any recognized College/ University duly approved by AICTE.
