Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, SUSE, CentOS, RHEL, etc.)
Manage user accounts, privileges, and access controls
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues
Implement security best practices, including patching and vulnerability remediation
Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning
Monitor system logs and respond to incidents
Support deployment of applications and services
Work with networking teams to maintain DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and routing
Document processes, configurations, and changes

Requirements:

Strong understanding of Linux OS fundamentals and command-line tools
Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, VPN)
Familiarity with virtualization and cloud platforms (VMware, AWS)
Skills in shell scripting (Bash, Python)
Understanding of monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana)
Ability to work in 24/7 rotation if needed
Bachelors degree in BE (IT) (CO) and MCA
