Responsibilities

• Business Domain & Embedded/Bancassurance Expertise
• Master the full life insurance value chain: new business, underwriting, admin, and claims.
• Drive insurance embedding across bank and affinity ecosystems (bancassurance), enabling in‑app, in‑branch and API-based distribution
• Translate business needs into product capabilities and technical specs.
• Product Design & Development
• Collaborate on life product structures (term, ULIPs, UL, VUL, annuity etc.), integration with distribution channels and embedding scenarios.
• Produce functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases with modular design and configurability.
• InsureMO Platform
• Strong understanding of InsureMO platform capabilities/features and support Product team in aligning product specifications with InsureMO capabilities
• Configure the full product lifecycle—library, APIs, backend workflows
• Model multi-channel distribution (web, mobile, bancassurance, MGAs) via InsureMO’s API‑first microservices.
• AI-driven Automation & Innovation
• Lead integration of AI/ML capabilities for enhanced underwriting, claims, fraud detection, and customer engagement.
• Pilot intelligent automation pipelines (OCR, text analytics) to reduce manual processing and boost decision accuracy.
• Quality Assurance & Collaboration
• Develop test scenarios (functional, regression, UAT) for both product and AI flows.
• Ensure high-quality deliveries with stakeholder‑driven acceptance.
• Lead Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives.
• Collaborate on product backlogs, prioritize epics and user stories, and manage acceptance criteria.
• Wireframing, Prototyping & Documentation
• Develop wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes with tools such as Balsamiq, Draw.io, Axure, or Figma.
• Produce comprehensive BRDs/FRDs, functional specs, process flows, and training materials.
• Knowledge Transfer & Documentation
• Document product configuration, AI models, usage flows, and embedded channel specifics.
• Provide training for business and technical teams; ensure knowledge continuity.
  

Qualifications

• 6+ years in life/annuity insurance—product design, underwriting, policy admin.
• 2+ years of InsureMO or similar insurance middleware implementation.
• Proven experience in embedded/bancassurance distribution strategy.
• Demonstrated ability in AI/ML integration in insurance (underwriting, claims, document processing).
• Strong understanding of full insurance lifecycle and API/microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology with hands-on participation and backlog management.
• Certified BA credentials (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, ECBA, Agile certification) required.
• Skilled in wireframing, mock-ups, and prototyping using standard BA/UI tools.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and analytical skills.
