Job Title: Liaisoning Architect / Junior Architect (Mid-Level) Location: SEAWOODS/CBD BELAPUR, Navi Mumbai. Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and dynamic Liaisoning Architect / Junior Architect (Mid-Level) to join our expanding team. This position involves managing architectural support and statutory approvals for redevelopment and greenfield commercial/residential projects . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience dealing with authorities like Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) and/or Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) and a deep understanding of urban planning regulations and e-governance platforms such as BPMS in the MMR region. Key Responsibilities: Liaisoning Architect Duties: Prepare, submit, and manage municipal drawings in the prescribed formats required for building approvals. Prepare and submit building plans, redevelopment proposals, and related documents for approvals with NMMC, Panvel Municipal Corporation, and other local authorities. Modify drawings based on authority remarks and resubmit through BPMS . Coordinate and follow up with municipal officials, regulatory bodies, and consultants to expedite approvals such as Commencement Certificate (CC), Occupation Certificate (OC), and other statutory clearances. Ensure compliance with local building bylaws, DCPR 2034, UDCPR 2020, and applicable redevelopment regulations. Liaise with civic authorities regarding water, drainage, fire NOCs, environmental clearances, and height permissions. Manage documentation for public notices, ROCs, 79A processes, and heritage or heritage conservation committee submissions. Attend site visits, municipal meetings, and workshops as required for smooth project progression. Maintain and update liaisoning tracker and documentation logs regularly. Assist in preparing architectural drawings, layouts, and 3D models for residential, commercial, and redevelopment projects. Collaborate with senior architects and structural engineers to incorporate statutory requirements into design development. Conduct site surveys and document existing conditions for redevelopment proposals. Support preparation of presentation drawings, architectural details, and working drawings. Coordinate with consultants such as MEP, structural, and landscaping teams for integrated design delivery. Keep updated with changes in municipal regulations, zoning laws, and redevelopment policies. Desired Profile/Experience: Bachelor’s/ Masters degree in Architecture from a recognized university. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in liaisoning and architectural roles for residential and commercial projects. Proficient in preparing and submitting municipal drawings and handling online submissions via BPMS (Building Plan Management System). Hands-on experience with Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) and Panvel Municipal Corporation approvals is mandatory. Experience with other municipal corporations (Thane, Raigad, MMRDA) is a plus. Well-versed with building bylaws, DCPR 2034, UDCPR 2020, and Maharashtra CHS redevelopment laws. Good knowledge of building plan submissions, redevelopment processes (including 79A), and documentation requirements. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office; knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar tools is an advantage. Strong communication and coordination skills with government authorities and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.
