Senior Design Studio Head Architect

Role Description: We are looking for a highly experienced and visionary Senior Architect to head our Design Studio . This is a full-time on-site position based in Navi Mumbai , responsible for leading the architectural team from initial concept to construction delivery. The ideal candidate must be capable of driving design innovation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with all stakeholders to achieve high-quality, buildable solutions across redevelopment and greenfield projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the architectural design studio from concept through execution. Define and uphold the firm’s design philosophy, project standards, and design review processes. Oversee design direction, urban planning, layout development, and architectural detailing. Prepare and approve working drawings and construction-ready drawing sets. Review and validate detailed drawings and BOQs submitted by junior architects. Conduct feasibility studies and site evaluations in coordination with the planning and PMC teams. Provide expert input on façade design, spatial planning, and efficient circulation strategies. Lead concept development presentations for clients, societies, and internal stakeholders. Coordinate seamlessly with structural, MEP, landscape, legal, and liaison consultants. Ensure 100% compliance with local building codes, DCPR 2034, UDCPR 2020, and other applicable norms. Design and manage Co-operative Housing Society Redevelopment, SRA, MHADA, cluster, and greenfield projects. Supervise the preparation of submission drawings for approvals (IOD, CC, MOEF, CFO, etc.). Monitor architectural deliverables to align with project budgets, timelines, and site constraints. Assist the execution team with architectural clarifications and periodic site coordination. Stay current with trends in sustainable architecture, smart cities, and regulatory updates. Train and mentor junior staff and interns to develop strong design and technical capabilities.
