Role Description

Liaison Officer


Key Responsibilities


· Coordinate with various government authorities (Municipal Corporations, Development Authorities, Revenue Departments, RERA, etc.) for obtaining approvals, NOCs, and compliance certificates.

· Track the progress of applications for approvals such as building plans, environmental clearances, occupancy certificates, etc.

·  Experience in handling real estate project with BMC, MHADA, SRA

· Liaise with surveyors, advocates, and consultants to ensure timely completion of legal and technical formalities.

· Facilitate land acquisition processes, including documentation, verification of ownership, and title clearance.

·  Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and central laws related to land and building projects.

·  Keep updated on policy changes, government circulars, and urban development regulations.

·  Maintain strong working relationships with local officials, legal advisors, and stakeholders.

·  Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, and local authorities as needed.

·  Prepare and maintain accurate records of all correspondences and approvals.


Qualifications

· Graduate in any discipline (Bachelor’s in Law, Urban Planning, or Public Administration or a related field)

· 3+ years in a liaison role, preferably in real estate or infrastructure projects specifically in residential and commercial.

· Strong working knowledge of Real estate laws and government regulations in India, Local land acquisition processes and municipal rules, RERA, building bye-laws, and land revenue codes & regulations.

· Familiarity with government procedures and documentation.

· Excellent leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent networking and relationship management.

· Good command of local language(s) and English.

· Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
