Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the single point of contact between the company and various government departments (e.g., BDA, RERA, Pollution Control Board, Revenue Dept., Fire Dept., etc.)
• Manage all approval processes for real estate projects including land use conversion, building plan approvals, environmental clearances, and completion certificates
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key officials and departments to ensure timely approvals and compliance
• Track changes in government policies, regulations, and guidelines relevant to the real estate sector and advise management accordingly
• Coordinate with legal, technical, and project teams to ensure documentation and submissions are accurate and timely
• Handle representation and follow-ups for project files, legal clearances, and any statutory requirements
• Ensure adherence to applicable municipal, state, and central laws affecting project development
• Manage and supervise a liaisoning team, if applicable
  

Candidate Requirements:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Law, Public Administration, or related fields
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in liaisoning for real estate or infrastructure companies
• Excellent knowledge of approval processes, regulatory authorities, and land laws
• Strong government and bureaucratic network
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proven track record of getting project clearances and approvals
• Ability to travel locally for meetings with government departments
