Legal Manager

Title & Document Verification: Scrutinize property documents for Home Loan proposals. Conduct due diligence on title, ownership, and encumbrances. Coordinate with empanelled advocates for property legal opinions. Legal Advisory & Documentation: Draft, vet, and review loan agreements, undertakings, indemnities, and other legal documents. Provide legal support to business and operations teams for loan disbursal and recovery cases. Litigation & Recovery Support: Handle litigation cases pertaining to recovery under SARFAESI, Arbitration, Civil suits, and Criminal complaints. Liaise with external law firms, advocates, and regulatory authorities. Ensure timely filing of cases and monitoring progress. Risk Management & Compliance: Identify potential legal risks in transactions and suggest mitigating measures. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal policies. Keep updated with changes in RERA, property laws, and banking/financial regulations. Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with credit, operations, and collections teams. Handle legal queries from customers, business partners, and regulatory authorities.
