Job Description

  • Providing in-house advisory guidance for establishment of best practices within the legal framework of the organization so as to secure & safeguard the interests of the company.
  • Render advice for planning the strategies and procedures to be followed in various projects/cases.
  • Rendering legal opinions; pre-empting legal action and suggesting the appropriate recourse.
  • Liaison with internal departments of company and its group companies.
  • Drafting, vetting, negotiating, standardizing and closing of all types of business agreements, conveyance documents including Agreement, MOU, LOI, Power of Attorney, NDA, Affidavits, Application form, Indemnities, Conveyance Deed, Lease deeds, Leave and Licenses & other documents required by the company.
  • Review contracts and agreements.
  • Process all agreements for execution, ensuring that the appropriate departments are briefed.
  • Reviewing and standardizing existing contracts and documents. Gather and confirm facts necessary to initiate contract formation with (third party) legal team and internal stakeholders.
  • Liasioning with lawyer and government authorities for legal matters.
  • Preparing and briefing lawyers in various cases as and when required.
  • Experience in handling litigations, court proceedings, civil matters, employment, labour laws, pre-litigation dispute including arbitrations.
  • Innovative and logical in approach ability to translate problem statements into legal parlance and provide solutions to business.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal skills, and analytical communications skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to identify and help resolve legal issues work effectively under time critical deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and interpret the relevant regulations and apply the same to the work situation.
  • Proficient in Email, MS Office including Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding drafting skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
