Legal Manager

Role Overview: As an individual in this role, you will collaborate and engage with External Vendors to scrutinize property titles. Your expertise in property title chains, property laws, and mortgage laws, particularly in the realm of affordable loans and LAP, will be essential for success in this position. You will be responsible for formulating region-specific policies related to collateral and developing streamlined and effective processes for legal assessment. Key Responsibilities: - Vet Original Property Papers and conduct regular training sessions at Branch locations to educate teams on legal processes. - Resolve queries from Sales, Credit, Business, and Operations teams. - Manage external vendors effectively and resolve audit issues for the Internal Audit Department. - Provide process training for new employees at both Pan India and State levels. - Detect and analyze gaps in case of any property document-related frauds. - Physically visit authorities for collateral verification and track and maintain OTC/PDD for timely closure. Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of property title chains, property laws, and mortgage laws. - Experience in formulating policies related to collateral. - Ability to develop streamlined processes for legal assessment. - Effective communication skills to conduct training sessions and resolve queries. - Experience in managing external vendors and resolving audit issues. - Attention to detail for detecting and analyzing gaps in property documents. - Willingness to travel for physical verification of collateral authorities.,
