Legal Manager

Manager Legal to work closely with Director F&A & Country Head and will lead the Legal team. This position will be helping in scaling up Legal processes, Policies, practices to meet short term, long term business goals for India & US location. The Legal Manager will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice and counsel to Shaip on a wide range of legal matters, with a particular focus on IT-related laws and regulations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the company's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, managing legal risks, and protecting the company's interests.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LL.B. or LL.M.)
• Experience: 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, with a focus on IT law.
• Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of IT law, including contract law, intellectual property law, data privacy law, and cybersecurity law.

Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.

Ability to provide clear and concise legal advice to business stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience working in the IT industry.
