Legal Intern

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to support our in-house legal team on critical documentation and regulatory compliance projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in regulatory research, legal documentation, and standardisation exercises.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Research & Documentation

• Prepare an updated ready reckoner of SEBI (AIF) Regulations, 2012 along with applicable master circulars.
• Summarize key regulatory provisions for ease of reference and internal compliance.

1. Contract Review & Deviation Matrix

• Assist in reviewing and comparing standard legal agreements such as NDAs and portfolio investment agreements.
• Create a deviation matrix to highlight variations from approved templates to support contract risk assessments.

1. Template Development

• Draft and standardize templates for commonly used legal documents including board/shareholder resolutions and fund-related documents.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability across templates.

Confidentiality & Security Measures:

• Due to the sensitive nature of the work:
• The intern will work on a company-provided laptop with appropriate restrictive settings (subject to IT confirmation).
• All documents shared for standardisation will be redacted to protect confidential information.
• The intern will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to joining.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a law program at a Delhi-based university.
• Strong understanding of corporate and investment laws, especially SEBI regulations.
• Excellent legal research and drafting skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
