Legal Compliance Manager

Role Summary: Compliance & Regulatory Affairs We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance & Regulatory Affairs professional to ensure robust adherence to legal and regulatory requirements across our retail and e-commerce operations . This role will be instrumental in managing the company's compliance framework , enhancing automation and reporting systems , and collaborating with internal teams and external advisors to foster a zero-default compliance culture . Key Responsibilities Analyze and interpret laws applicable to the company’s business operations. Lead and manage the company’s compliance monitoring system , ensuring active usage and continuous improvement. Collaborate cross-functionally with business units to ensure end-to-end legal compliance . Oversee and manage compliance matters including inspections, notices, audits, and enforcement proceedings. Serve as the primary liaison with external legal advisors on compliance-related issues. Support the legal team in executing proactive compliance programs , including tracking legal and regulatory developments and advocacy initiatives. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Implementation and maintenance of a fully functional, automated compliance reporting system . Achievement of zero compliance breaches or defaults across all business functions. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a reputable and accredited institution. Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory environments, especially in retail and e-commerce sectors . Demonstrated ability to manage legal risk and drive organizational compliance initiatives. Experience with compliance tools or automation systems is a plus.
