Legal Assistant

Required Qualifications and skills: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Legal Manager to join our team at Tpipay Fintech Private Limited Company in the Fintech industry. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in law. Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university. An LL.M. or a Company Secretary (CS) qualification is a plus. 2+ years of post-qualification experience in legal/compliance roles—ideally within Fintech, banking, or financial services. Strong knowledge of Indian Corporate Laws, Fintech Regulations (RBI guidelines, IT Act, PMLA, etc.), and statutory compliance. Draft, review, negotiate, and standardize diverse commercial agreements, including service contracts, MOUs, NDAs, content licensing agreements, lease deeds for transmission sites, talent contracts, and vendor agreements. Oversee the complete contract lifecycle from drafting and negotiation to execution, renewal, and archival ensuring timelines are met and business continuity is maintained. Draft and issue legal notices, reply to third-party notices, and ensure all communications protect the company’s legal position. Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into clear business guidelines. Familiarity with litigation management, dispute resolution, and coordinating with external counsels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. High integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
