Learning And Development Specialist

Role & responsibilities

1. Training Need Analysis

• Identify training needs through performance appraisals, manager feedback, and skill gap studies.
  
• Collaborate with department heads (Manufacturing, R&D, Sales, etc.) to understand learning requirements.
  

2. Learning Program Design

• Design and develop training modules (technical, behavioral, leadership, safety).
  
• Coordinate with internal trainers and external learning partners.
  
• Develop e-learning content and use LMS (Learning Management System).
  

3. Training Delivery & Coordination

• Organize training sessions across plants and corporate offices.
  
• Schedule sessions, track attendance, and collect feedback.
  
• Support onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
  

4. Evaluation & Reporting

• Measure training effectiveness using feedback, assessment results, and productivity improvements.
  
• Maintain training dashboards, reports, and skill matrices.
  

5. Employee Development

• Support career development programs, leadership pipelines, and succession planning.
  
• Drive learning culture through workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and mentorship programs.
  

6. Compliance & Budgeting

• Ensure training compliance (safety, quality, HR policies).
  
• Manage training budgets and vendor payments.
