Job Description

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for the Learning and Development department, integrating it seamlessly with organizational objectives.
  • Demonstrate visionary leadership by inspiring and guiding the team towards innovative and impactful learning solutions.

Team Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Lead a dynamic team of training professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, nurturing their skills and potential.

Program Development and Implementation:

  • Oversee the end-to-end design and implementation of training programs that cater to various learning styles and organizational needs.
  • Ensure programs not only address current skill gaps but also contribute to long-term employee development and career progression.

Budget Management and Resource Allocation:

  • Manage the Learning and Development budget effectively, demonstrating fiscal responsibility and ensuring optimal resource utilization.
  • Identify and recommend investments in cutting-edge training technologies and resources that enhance the learning experience.

Needs Analysis and Strategic Development:

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement within the organization.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans that address identified learning and development needs, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Relationship Management:

  • Collaborate closely with department heads, HR, and other stakeholders to understand the unique needs and priorities of each business unit.
  • Cultivate strong relationships to ensure that learning initiatives are closely aligned with and contribute to broader organizational objectives.

Evaluation, Metrics, and Continuous Improvement:

  • Establish robust metrics and evaluation processes to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to continuously refine and improve learning initiatives, adapting to evolving organizational needs.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure that all training programs comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Generate comprehensive and insightful reports on training activities, participation, and impact for leadership and stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

Experience:

Proven experience of 6+ yrs. in the Learning and Development function

Preferred Qualification:

Graduate from any stream

Leadership and Team Management:

Proven ability to inspire and lead a diverse team effectively.

Strategic Thinking:

Exceptional strategic thinking and planning abilities, with a focus on aligning learning initiatives with organizational goals.

Communication and Interpersonal:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Financial Acumen:

Solid understanding of budget management and financial acumen to optimize resource allocation.

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical skills for assessing training program effectiveness, interpreting data, and making informed decisions.

Technology Proficiency:

Proficiency in utilizing a variety of training tools and technologies to enhance learning experiences. Substantial experience in utilizing Learning Management System (LMS) tools to design, manage, and track training programs. Proficiency in MS Excel, including the ability to create and analyze data reports to inform training strategies.

Organizational and Multitasking Abilities:

Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.

Effectively handle logistics, schedules, and resources for training programs.

Strong Report Writing and Record Keeping:

Proficient in creating detailed and comprehensive training reports.

Ability to maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and evaluation results.

Position Requirement

l. Working Days: Tue to Sat

m. Working hours: 9 (1hr break included)

n. Shift Timing: Day to US Shifts (Flexible with Shift)
