What you'll do
As a Team Manager, you’ll be leading and developing a team of support colleagues, making sure that resource is arranged to deliver optimum levels of support to leaders. You’ll be responsible for people planning including capability, engagement and communications, as well as building and maintaining stakeholder relationships and expectations, managing any conflicts or issues where needed.This role supports the Chief of Staff in managing the Country Head’s office by overseeing team operations, people planning, and performance management. It ensures smooth execution of key projects through effective project management and coordination of CEO office engagements such as townhalls and leadership connects. The role also drives compliance, tracks budgets, and promotes the use of digital tools to enhance efficiency and collaboration.You’ll also be:
- Championing and embedding the use of new tools and technologies to support improved efficiency and effectiveness
- Making sure that processes, systems access and relevant risk processes remain fit for purpose and in line with requirements of the businesses being supported
- Setting stretching performance goals and supporting the team to deliver and exceed against these
- Ensuring continuous improvement across team processes and engagement to deliver an effective and efficient service
- Collaborating with other similar function teams to share best practice and drive a consistent approach
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with demonstrable leadership and coaching experience. You’ll also need to be a strong communicator, with high levels of interpersonal skills to effectively coach your team and deliver feedback.You’ll also need:
- Experience of at least 12 years in leading day-to-day team operations, people planning, and performance development
- Exposure of managing key projects and CEO office engagements like townhalls, leadership connects
- Exposure to drive digital enablement and continuous improvement in team processes
- As strong background in ensuring compliance and track budgets across initiatives
