Title: Lead RPA Business Analyst

The Lead RPA Business Analyst is responsible for driving end-to-end RPA discovery, design, and delivery across multiple business units. This role leads BA activities, defines automation strategy, mentors junior BAs, and ensures automation initiatives deliver measurable business value aligned with enterprise standards and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Strategy & Leadership

Lead enterprise-wide RPA discovery and demand intake

Define automation roadmap aligned with business priorities

Establish best practices, standards, and templates for RPA BA activities

Act as a key contributor to RPA CoE governance
Process Discovery & Assessment

Identify, assess, and prioritize automation opportunities
-
Conduct complex process assessments and feasibility studies
-
Evaluate processes for RPA, API, workflow, or AI suitability
-
Perform cost-benefit and ROI analysis
Requirements & Documentation

Own and review PDD, BRD, FRD, Solution Design inputs
-
Ensure accuracy and completeness of business rules and exceptions
-
Manage scope, assumptions, risks, and dependencies
-
Ensure documentation aligns with enterprise standards
Stakeholder & Program Management

Engage senior stakeholders, business heads, and SMEs
-
Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and executive reviews
-
Manage expectations, risks, and change requests
-
Act as escalation point for requirement and scope issues
Delivery & Quality Assurance

Partner with RPA architects and developers during design
-
Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews
-
Oversee UAT strategy, test case review, and sign-off

Ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality benchmarks
Governance, Metrics & Value Realization

Track automation benefits, KPIs, and savings realization
-
Ensure compliance with security, audit, and risk standards

Identify continuous improvement and hyperautomation opportunities

Drive post-deployment optimization and reuse
People & Capability Development

Mentor and review work of junior RPA Business Analysts

Conduct knowledge sessions and BA capability building

Support hiring and onboarding of BA resources
Required Skills & Qualifications

7–12 years of Business Analysis experience
-
4+ years in RPA / Intelligent Automation initiatives

Experience leading multiple RPA programs or CoE initiatives

Strong hands-on knowledge of:

UiPath / Automation Anywhere / Blue Prism / Power Automate

Deep understanding of:

Attended & unattended automation

OCR, IDP, APIs, AI/ML integration

Exception handling and reusability

Exposure to hyperautomation and workflow tools

Knowledge of Agile / SAFe / Waterfall delivery models

Understanding of SDLC, security, and compliance requirements

Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, and system integrations
