We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Robotics Software Developer with strong proficiency in Modern C++ and Python, experience in Unix/Linux environments, and hands-on expertise in ROS (Robot Operating System). The ideal candidate will thrive in an agile software development environment and will be comfortable working across various interdisciplinary fields, including robotics, computer vision, and machine learning. Years of experience 4-8 Years Technical Skills Required: Strong software development skills in Modern C++ and Python. Expert in software development within Unix/Linux environments. Proficient in working with the ROS (Robot Operating System) framework. Familiar in G-Test, ROS Test Framework and user field acceptance testing. Preferred experience in mathematical modeling, path planning, and control of mobile robots. Familiar with SLAM/Position Tracking, 3D Reconstruction, Depth Sensing, Bayesian Filtering, Information Theory, or 3D Geometry. Preferred understanding of probability theory, linear and nonlinear control, and machine learning methodologies Experience with development of embedded boards is desirable Responsibilities Provide offsite/onsite priority support to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues raised by the project I&C team, ensuring timely solutions. Integrate the developed software components into the codebase and ensure a code review and unit test cases are facilitated. Perform functional testing (in simulation/actual hardware) of the developed component in collaboration with the QA/Validation team and ensure documentation of test plans for understanding and future reference. To write clean, efficient code that follows coding standards and ensure that algorithms are documented for clarity and future reference. Responsible for troubleshooting and debugging project issues while providing priority offsite or onsite support for product delivery problems. Responsible for leading research in autonomous robotics to publish in journals, while contributing to navigation, motion planning, fleet management, perception, and controls of mobile robotics for implementation in existing products. Collaboration with Intra & Inter disciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
