Lead Quality

Total Work Experience: +18 years of experience in a Quality Assurance & Quality Control of medium to large Civil / Infrastructure or building projects

• Establish and lead the quality culture & strategy for the project
• Develop programs & processes to ensure the objectives of the strategy are achieved.
• Coordinate with Group Manager Quality and Environment to ensure alignment of strategies
• Guide project teams to implement effective management systems on projects that comply with specified contract and legislative.
• Track instances of non-compliance, quality defects, etc. and guide team to take corrective measures; escalate critical issues to BU GMs, OMs, Project Director / Leader, if required
• Provide quality related inputs to engineering procurement, and construction processes, etc. as required.
• Attend bi-monthly Project SHEQ Meetings to review performance
• Ensure all monthly quality reporting to parent / holding companies is done in a timely manner.

Preferred candidate profile

• Good working knowledge of quality and environment management, and ISO standards.
• Prepare and implement project quality plan
• Preparation of field quality plan and inspection test plan
• Preparing checklist of all constructional activities.
• Conducting quality checking of finishing work (masonry, plastering, tiles fixing, water proofing, door window, structural glazing)
• Familiar with Standard Civil Engineering Practices & Methods of Measurement.
