Lead Quality Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities: Lead the Ǫuality Engineering (ǪE) team in developing web-based applications. Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for web applications. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Conduct and manage user tests to validate the feasibility of the design, evaluate its functionality, and assess its ease of use as part of a user-centered design process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure high-quality releases. Conduct manual and automated testing to identify, document, and track defects. Mentor and guide junior ǪE team members, providing technical leadership and support. Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web-based testing and automation. Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing. Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright , Appium(preferred) or similar is an added advantage Solid understanding of web application development and testing lifecycle. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with performance and security testing for web-based applications. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or similar. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTǪB) is a plus.
