Job Summary

Cognizant is looking for Quality Analyst

Responsibilities

Working experience of Data and functionality testing of the application hosted on AWS CloudPrimary responsibilities would be understand requirements define test plan develop test cases conduct reviews and execute test casesPerform Regression testing Functional testing automated testing where possibleDevelop and maintain quality automation code and work towards automating manual QA functionsPerform root cause analysis tracing defects to underlying issues with requirements data or transformationsCommunicates overall status of testing activities to Leadership and project team membersEscalate issues to Project Manager and Quality Assurance Manager as needed in a clear concise and timely manner Consistently identify solutions to issuesBachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experienceMinimum 2 years of combined experience in Frontend Database and Automation TestingGood experience of any cloud platform AWS grid computing monitoring and management service CloudWatch Lambda Batch etcProficient in all types of testing Sanity functional regression integration load stress and performanceAbility to collaborate with crossfunctional team of Business Owners Developers Business Analysts and Quality Assurance professionalsStrong organizational skills ability to complete multiple tasks under tight and competing schedulesStrong technical and analytic skills ability to understand complex systems and design tests around integration and interface pointsExcellent written and verbal communication skills ability to communicate effectively with technical staff Business Analysts management and business team membersKnowledge of JiraKnowledge of the QA processSDLC in a Waterfall Continuous Delivery and Agile environmentsWork independently full SDLC with minimal supervision in a team environment

Preferred Qualification

Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle SDLC code control build and deploymentExperience working in an Agile or Continuous Delivery environmentExperience applying new technologies to business needs in a technologically innovative changedriven organizationExperience creating automation framework script using PythonSeleniumAbility to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time framesHands on experience of CICD pipeline Bitbucket GIT would be a plus
