Job Description

As a Lead Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards in software products, with a primary focus on RestAssured and Rest API. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications. - Overseeing the implementation of automated testing frameworks using RestAssured to ensure efficient and effective testing processes. - Collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner for high-quality software delivery. - Providing guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning. - Utilizing Jira to manage and track testing activities, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. - Coordinating with cross-functional teams to align on quality objectives and deliverables. - Analyzing test results and providing detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting potential risks or issues. - Ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices in software quality assurance. - Driving the adoption of new testing tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process. - Conducting regular reviews of testing processes and methodologies, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as needed. - Engaging with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into effective testing strategies. - Ensuring that all testing activities are conducted within established timelines and budgets. - Contributing to the continuous improvement of the QA process by identifying and implementing best practices. Qualifications: - Strong experience in RestAssured and Rest API with a proven track record of successful testing projects. - Proficiency in using Jira for managing and tracking testing activities. - Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and quality assurance methodologies. - Experience in the Pharmacy Claims domain is a plus, providing valuable insights into industry-specific testing requirements. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model. - Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in software testing.,
