Lead QA - (From Broking Industry Only)

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Team Lead (Manual + Automation) with strong experience in broking/trading platforms. You will lead the QA function, own end-to-end testing processes, and ensure the stability, accuracy, and performance of mission-critical modules such as onboarding, KYC, order execution, market data, risk checks, settlements, and reporting.

You will work closely with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and RMS teams.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Process

• Lead a QA team of manual and automation testers; mentor, guide, and upskill.
• Own overall QA strategy, test planning, closure reports, and quality metrics.
• Establish testing standards aligned with SEBI/RIA/RA compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with development teams working on 

  Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Flutter

  .

Manual Testing

• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, UAT, and sanity testing.
• Deep testing for broking workflows:
• KYC, fund transfers, order placement, RMS validations, portfolio updates, scrip master sync, contract notes, P&L, corporate actions, etc.
• Validate real-time trading flow: market orders, limits, algo triggers, SL-M, SL-L, AMO, basket orders, etc.

Automation

• Design and implement automation framework from scratch or enhance existing ones.
• Build automation suites using Java + Selenium/TestNG/JUnit, API automation with RestAssured/Postman, and mobile automation for Flutter (e.g., Appium).
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines on AWS.

Quality Ownership

• Identify quality risks early and suggest preventive measures.
• Ensure smooth releases, production validation, and performance stability.
• Work closely with DevOps for environment readiness and monitoring.

Required Skills

Domain Expertise

• Mandatory experience

   in broking/trading platforms (discount brokers, full-service brokers, exchanges, clearing, RMS systems, market data systems).
• Strong understanding of SEBI guidelines, e-KYC, order lifecycle, and settlement processes.
  

Technical Skills

• Strong in Manual testing AND Automation testing.
• Experience with:
• Java-based automation
• Selenium, TestNG/JUnit
• RestAssured / Postman
• Appium (Flutter apps preferred)
• SQL
• JIRA, Confluence
• CI/CD on AWS
