Role Overview

We are looking for an accomplished Tech Lead – Python Microservices with extensive hands-on experience in backend engineering, architecture design, and leading development teams. The ideal candidate should be capable of driving end-to-end project delivery while mentoring developers and ensuring best-in-class engineering practices.

Must-Have Skills

5–10 years of professional experience in Python backend development, including 3+ years in a technical/team leadership role

Proven track record in leading backend teams, conducting code reviews, and managing project delivery and timelines

Expertise in REST API design, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems

Strong understanding of backend security, including authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT)

Experience with SSE, WebSockets, and real-time event-driven architecture

Hands-on experience with LlamaIndex, LangChain, or similar AI integration frameworks

Strong database knowledge – PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL systems

Deep experience with logging, monitoring, and tracing tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)

Ability to drive technical discussions, define architecture blueprints, and collaborate across product, DevOps, and QA teams

Experience in scalable system design, performance optimization, and high-availability deployments

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves)

Exposure to MCP and A2A systems

Familiarity with LlamaIndex Workflows and workflow tracing

Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway)

Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and microservice orchestration

Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)

Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SNS/SQS)

Solid understanding of caching (Redis, Memcached) and containerization (Docker)

Exposure to serverless computing patterns and backend-driven data visualization (Matplotlib or equivalent)

Experience using performance/load testing tools (Locust, JMeter)

(Optional) Active GitHub/open-source contributions demonstrating thought leadership

Leadership & Delivery Expectations

Own end-to-end technical delivery of backend and microservice-based systems

Lead architecture reviews, scalability planning, and deployment strategy sessions

Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project roadmaps and ensure on-time, quality delivery

Mentor, guide, and upskill the development team

Champion engineering excellence, enforcing secure, maintainable, and efficient coding standards
