Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end Quality Management across products, services, and manufacturing processes, including conformance checks, incoming goods control, product inspections, and witness points.
- Build comprehensive technical expertise in relevant engineering disciplines and apply this knowledge to effectively execute quality policies, standards, and strategies.
- Understand key business drivers and align team objectives with broader organizational goals to enable strong operational outcomes.
- Exercise informed judgment to propose solutions beyond standard parameters, using analytical thinking and available internal resources to resolve complex issues.
- Contribute as an individual contributor or emerging people leader by offering informal coaching, supporting new team members, and fostering ongoing capability development.
- Oversee Ultrasound product quality—including probes and transducers—ensuring adherence to quality metrics while driving improvements such as scrap reduction, process controls, and CAPA for customer issues.
- Guide process optimization and problem‑solving initiatives through PSP methodologies, continuous improvement programs, and best‑practice sharing with global sites (e.g., Wuxi and Hino).
- Manage MRB processes and obsolescence control to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and timely decision-making.
- Facilitate training programs on Process Excellence, QMS, Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem‑solving methodologies to strengthen organizational capability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or process improvement roles.
- Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with demonstrated experience leading quality and efficiency initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in PFMEA, statistical analysis tools, and structured problem‑solving methods.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean principles including 5S, Kaizen, and Poka‑Yoke.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively and align cross‑functional teams for successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to enabling team learning and development.
