Lead IP Analyst

The Role

• Lead IP Analyst is expected to handle drafting of patent applications across different jurisdictions (e.g., US, EP, IN) under minimal supervision.
• Lead IP Analyst is expected to independently handle Patent prosecution across different jurisdictions (e.g., US, EP, IN).
• Lead IP Analyst is expected to demonstrate expertise in differentiating invention amongst prior arts and draft convincing arguments/articulation of subject matter.
• Lead IP Analyst is expected to demonstrate inter-personal leadership skills, capable of handling & triaging project requests in demanding situations | Should be capable of bringing project execution at speed.
• Lead IP Analyst is expected have strong & clear understanding of Patent laws | Capable of training juniors on Patent laws.
• Lead IP Analyst is expected to engage & drive conversations with inventors by precise and effective communication skills.
• Lead IP Analyst is expected to have clear & thoughtful communication skills and ability to demonstrate results with conviction.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Engineering background |

  Bachelors or Master of Engineering in CSE/IT/ECE/EEE/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Automotive/Robotics/Aeronautical/Industrial etc.

  6-10 yrs.

  of prior experience in IP industry. Strong articulation & presentation skills | Expertise in working with MS Visio, MS-Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word is a must | Prior experience of working with AutoCAD and Teamcenter is a plus.
• Prior experience of handling at least 20 Patent drafting matters is a must.
• Good claim drafting & argument articulation skills.
