Job Title: AS400 Developer and Admin with HR, Payroll and Finance Experience Job Description: We are looking for an experienced AS400 Developer and Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting applications on the AS400 platform while working with Infor's HR, payroll and finance modules. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain AS400 applications related to using programming languages such as RPGLE, CL and working with DB2/400 databases. - Ensure data integrity and accuracy for HR, payroll and finance data processed through AS400 applications. - Work with HR, payroll and finance teams to understand business requirements, providing technical support and enhancements for Infor HR, payroll and finance systems. - Implement custom reports and data extracts for HR, payroll and finance-related information, ensuring timely and accurate data processing. - Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution related to AS400 applications, Infor HR, Payroll and Finance systems, and data integration. - Create and optimize SQL queries in DB2/400 to retrieve, manipulate, and load data for HR, payroll and finance processes. - Strong understanding and experience working with Infor HR, Payroll and Finance Application - Experience in designing, implementing, and managing data integrations in AS400 - Strong proficiency in SQL for DB2/400 to work with HR, Payroll-related and Finance databases. - Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills. - Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure successful system design, development, and deployment. Following AS400 admin skills are also needed. - Strong knowledge of IBM i (AS400) system administration and troubleshooting. - Proficiency in IBM i networking, access control, and security best practices. - Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. - Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures and disaster recovery strategies. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Familiarity with change management processes Key Responsibilities from admin role perspective - System Management: This includes installing, configuring, and maintaining the AS400 operating system, hardware, and software, including networked devices and IBM iAccess. - Security Management: AS400 administrators are responsible for user access control, security authorizations, and implementing security policies to protect the system and data. - Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks and performance issues, and implement solutions to optimize system performance. - Backup and Recovery: Administrators are responsible for creating and managing backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability. - Certificate Maintenance: Update and maintain all certificates and add new certificates as needed. - Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve system errors, hardware and software issues, and other technical problems related to the AS400 system. - System Upgrades and Maintenance: AS400 administrators are involved in system upgrades, applying patches and fixes, and ensuring the system is up-to-date with the latest software versions. - Documentation: Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and knowledge sharing. - Disaster Recovery: AS400 administrators may also be involved in developing and implementing disaster recovery strategies to minimize business disruptions in case of system failures. - Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams and end-users to ensure seamless integration with other systems and provide technical support. - Staying Up-to-Date: Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices related to AS400 administration. Proficiency in HR, payroll and finance is an added advantage
