Job Description

Role Proficiency:

Under the supervision of a Senior Lead analyze and develop applications in assigned area of responsibility on ERP/CRM systems and design solutions.

Outcomes:

  1. Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models
  2. Learn technology business/system domain and as recommended by the project/account
  3. Contribute to ERP/CRM Practice related activities like (but not limited to) assembling content for case studies contributing to reusability coordinating internal seminars and conduct knowledge sharing sessions organizing sessions during and participating in hackathons etc.
  4. Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system
  5. Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.
  6. Independently analyze design develop and test functionalities
  7. Develop technical documents such as Functional Design Specifications Deployment documentation
  8. Perform design document reviews peer code reviews and suggest code improvements
  9. A single point of contact for the build and deployment issues and resolving on time
  10. Responsible for code/configuration changes to production environment to resolve any issues post production move
  11. Independently manage client environments/perform installation related activities
  12. Perform root cause analysis technical troubleshooting architecture resolve performance issues
  13. Mentor juniors for client discussions and day to day activities and basic administrative tasks
  14. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
  15. Influence and improve customer satisfaction through things like (but not limited to) offering suggestions for code refactoring and for small improvements in business processes. complete sprint deliverables ahead of schedule; helping client architects and product owners by way of design suggestions and/or explaining functionality to business stakeholders etc...
  16. Self-learning and implement new features released in ERP/CRM wherever possible.
  17. Set goals in NorthStar and timely measure the progress and update accordingly.

  1. Number of applicable technical/domain certifications completed
  2. Adherence to process and standards (coding standards)
  3. Number of mandatory training (Industry/Technology specific trainings UST mandatory trainings) completed
  4. Quick turnaround of production bugs
  5. Adherence to schedule / timelines

  8. Number of innovative industry/technology specific ideas submitted
  9. Number of positive feedback received from client (client appreciation emails)

Requirement:

  1. Understand the requirements/user stories


Estimate:

  1. Estimate time
    effortresource dependence for one's own work and for others' workincluding for modules. Follow scrum ceremonies.
  2. Participate in preparing RFPs and estimations in ERP/CRM Practice


Design:

  1. Understand the design/LLD and link it to requirements/user stories


Configuration and Coding:

  1. Adhere to coding standards and follow ERP/CRM best practices. Develop code independently.
  2. Review code done by peer and team.


Test:

  1. Create and conduct unit testing.
  2. Test class coverage above 95%.


Manage Defects:

  1. Perform defect RCA and mitigation
  2. Identify defect trends and take proactive measures to improve quality


Client Interaction:

  1. Effectively interact with customers and articulate their inputs


Manage Project:

  1. Manage delivery of modules and/or manage user stories


Documentation:

  1. Create/review templates
    checklistsguidelinesstandards for design/process/development
