Role Description Work Location : Thiruvananthapuram & Kochi Role Description We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with 7 to 12 years of experience to join our team in Trivandrum. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in container orchestration, scripting, automation, and monitoring. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, maintaining infrastructure, and ensuring system scalability and reliability. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and resilient containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and deployment tasks. Set up, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git and related tools. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal system performance. Utilize Splunk for log analysis and monitoring, and create dashboards in Grafana for system health visualization. Write and maintain infrastructure documentation, technical guidelines, and best practices. Implement and maintain security practices in the DevOps pipeline and across the infrastructure. Troubleshoot complex system and deployment issues to ensure continuous operations. Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Mandatory Skills Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and system management. Solid knowledge of Git and experience in setting up and managing deployment pipelines. Working knowledge of Ansible for configuration management and automation. Experience with monitoring tools, specifically Splunk (for log management) and Grafana (for creating dashboards). Excellent troubleshooting skills across complex distributed systems. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively. Good To Have Skills Basic knowledge of Golang. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform. Knowledge of service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd). Experience in security practices within DevOps workflows (DevSecOps). Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
