Lead - Finance Process

JOB PURPOSE

Driving process improvements, control environment and automation in Finance processes across multiple departments including Corporate Finance, back-office support and Business Finance areas. Bringing industry best practices to Varroc and convincing multiple stakeholders on the need for change and driving their implementation.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Process Improvements

▪ Studying existing processes in Finance

▪ Identifying the process control issues and measuring the risk involved

▪ Data mining with help from Finance teams and other functions to identify opportunities

▪ Identifying opportunities to simplify processes without compromising on controls

▪ Finding best practices across industry and assessing their suitability to Varroc

▪ Studying Oracle system and its usage across Finance functions

▪ Reviewing the existing customization within Oracle

▪ Identifying automation opportunities to assist simplification and controls

▪ Suggesting self-audit or error reports for different areas

▪ Developing KPIs for various sub-functions within Finance

▪ Developing health-check checklist for each area within Finance

Execution and Change Management

▪ Working with various teams within Finance and cross-functional teams for execution

▪ Handling change management process

▪ Proactive interaction with business heads and controllers to convince them on the need for change

▪ Partnering with IT function to implement IT solutions

▪ Implementing automation using Oracle and other IT tools

▪ Working with BU and Corporate teams to simplify exchange of information

▪ Working with BD/SCM controllers to generate MIS which can identify revenue leakages and cost reduction opportunities

▪ Driving automation to achieve paperless treasury operations for imports and exports

QUALIFICATION

CA / CMA (ICWA)

WORK EXPERIENCE

12-15 years

MANDATORY

▪ Strong knowledge and exposure to most of the finance processes (Consolidation, AP-AR, Treasury, FP&A, Taxation etc..)

▪ Strong process improvement / change management / digital transformation experience
