Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and simulate motor control models including inverter circuits, feedback loops, and motor dynamics.
  • Porting/development of motor control algorithms
  • Use MATLAB/Simulink and other simulation tools to design, validate, and optimize control algorithms.
  • Implement model-based design (MBD) workflows for embedded systems development.
  • Translate simulation models into deployable embedded code using auto-code generation tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Analyze system performance and refine algorithms for efficiency, accuracy, and robustness.
  • Document design specifications, simulation results, and deployment procedures.
  • Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
  • Interfacing customers to understand and translate their business goals into solution requirement documents.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and testing by following system architectural strategies and guidelines.

Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Motor Control based embedded simulation software development for MCUs (Microcontroller Units)
  • Strong programming skills in Python for simulation, scripting, and data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience in MATLAB/Simulink and other simulation environments.
  • Hands-on experience with motor control models including inverter circuits and feedback control systems.
  • Experience in algorithm development and deployment for embedded systems.
  • Solid understanding of Model-Based Design (MBD) principles and tools.
  • Familiarity with auto-code generation and embedded software workflows.
  • Experience in embedded systems architecture and design.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Embedded C, Python
  • Understanding of hardware peripherals like CAN, PWM, Timer, I2C, UART, SPI, USB, ADC, DAC etc.
  • Experience with ARM Cortex, Renesas RA/RZ, STM32, or similar MCU platforms for model deployment.
  • Experience in Embedded software evaluation methods, tools (such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and signal generators) and IDEs.
  • Excellent documentation skills for technical specifications and test procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to details.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, risk management and team coordination and on-time delivery.
