About The Role

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist with strong expertise in the healthcare domain to drive advanced data science initiatives and lead a team of analysts and data engineers. You will architect and implement AI/ML models that unlock insights from complex healthcare data, enabling data-driven decisions for patient care, clinical operations, and healthcare product Responsibilities :
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable machine learning and statistical models for healthcare use cases such as patient outcomes prediction, risk modeling, clinical decision support, and claims analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, clinical experts) to translate healthcare business challenges into data science solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists and analysts.
  • Work with large-scale healthcare datasets (EHR, clinical trial, claims, genomic, IoT/medical device data) ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines and frameworks for real-time and batch processing.
  • Communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders through data storytelling and visualizations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in healthcare analytics, AI/ML, and regulatory Skills & Qualifications :
  • 712 years of proven experience in data science, machine learning, or AI, with at least 3+ years in healthcare analytics or life sciences domain.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD, CPT) and clinical workflows.
  • Expertise in building predictive models, natural language processing (NLP), and statistical analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication Qualifications :
  • Advanced degree (M.S./Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Data Science, Biostatistics, or related field.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Experience with real-world evidence (RWE), clinical trial data, or medical imaging analytics.
