About The Role

• Lead end-to-end data science projects in the healthcare space, from business understanding to deployment.
• Develop, train, and optimize advanced Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and NLP models for healthcare datasets (EHR, medical claims, imaging, clinical notes, etc.).
• Work with structured and unstructured healthcare data, ensuring data privacy, compliance (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, GDPR), and ethical AI practices.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to define data-driven strategies and use cases.
• Mentor and guide a team of data scientists and analysts, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with AI/ML advancements in healthcare and life sciences to recommend innovative approaches.
• Translate complex results into actionable insights for clinical, operational, and business Skills & Experience :
• 6-10 years of experience in Data Science / AI/ML, with at least 3+ years in Healthcare domain projects.
• Strong expertise in Python / R, SQL, TensorFlow / PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NLP frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with healthcare datasets (EHR/EMR, HL7/FHIR standards, clinical text, medical imaging, claims, genomics).
• Proven ability to design and deploy ML models at scale (on AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, predictive analytics, deep learning, and NLP.
• Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
• Experience leading a data science team and collaborating with cross-functional to Have :
• Exposure to Generative AI / LLM applications in healthcare.
• Experience in biostatistics, medical research, or healthcare product development.
