Lead Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analytics projects — from problem definition, data extraction, data wrangling, to insight generation and presentation.
• Partner with business, product, operations, and engineering teams to identify and solve key business challenges using data.
• Build and maintain robust dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that drive performance tracking and decision-making.
• Design and implement A/B tests and statistical models to support experimentation and hypothesis testing.
• Interpret data trends, identify business opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Optimize data quality and ensure governance and best practices in data management.
• Mentor and guide junior analysts in tools, methodologies, and business understanding.
• Proactively identify inefficiencies and automate repetitive data processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related.
• 6+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a high-growth or large-scale organization.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong working knowledge of statistical methods, data modeling, and experimentation techniques.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
• Demonstrated ability to derive meaningful insights and communicate them effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent problem-solving, business acumen, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in domains such as e-commerce, agri-tech, fintech, or supply chain analytics.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
• Exposure to machine learning frameworks and data science workflows.
