Role Summary:As a Business Finance lead for the FWD Business at Myntra, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance of one of our most dynamic and growing verticals. You will work closely with category, marketing, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams to ensure pricing integrity, budgetary control, and financial alignment with strategic business goals. This role demands a highly analytical and proactive finance professional with a strong commercial mindset and business partnering capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Performance Management:
- Monitor and drive key financial metrics including GMV, revenue, gross margins, contribution margin, and EBITDA
- Partner with category and marketing teams to drive topline and bottom-line growth in line with the business strategy
- Own monthly, quarterly and annual planning cycles (AOP, forecasts and reforecasts)
- Pricing and Margin Control:-
- Partner with marketing team to evaluate ROI on campaigns and drive optimization of spends across channels
- Conduct margin walk analysis and identify areas of improvement
- Inventory and working capital management
- Drive efficient inventory planning and liquation strategies
- Inventory & working capital management
- Marketing Business Finance:
- -Partner with the marketing team to evaluate ROI on campaigns and drive optimization of spends across channels.-Track and report effectiveness of ATL/BTL campaigns from a finance lens.- Vendor & Marketplace Financial Management:-Manage financial aspects of seller/vendor relationships - both marketplace and outright models.
- - Drive adherence to commercial terms and ensure vendor funding/claims are accounted accurately and timely.- Financial Reporting & Reviews:- Lead monthly financial reviews with business stakeholders.- Prepare dashboards, variance analyses, and insights to support decision-making.- Controls & Compliance:- Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audits (internal/external).-Support implementation of process improvements and automation.Key Skills &
Qualifications:
- - Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-3 years of relevant experience in business finance / FP&A / category finance roles.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau preferred).
- - Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, or consumer industries is a strong plus.-Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset.
