Job Summary
The Lead Architect – Workplace Designer will be responsible for leading the design development of commercial workplace projects, from concept to execution. This role involves creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically compelling office environments that reflect client culture and support productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong design leadership, project management, and client-facing skills, with proven experience in large-scale workplace or corporate interior projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Leadership

  • Lead the conceptualization and development of innovative workplace designs.
  • Translate client requirements into functional layouts, design narratives, and detailed drawings.
  • Ensure designs balance creativity with technical feasibility and budget constraints.

2. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with clients to understand business needs, culture, and workplace strategy.
  • Present design concepts, material boards, and space planning solutions to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to achieve design intent.

3. Project Coordination

  • Oversee the preparation of architectural drawings, 3D models, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with MEP, structural, and other consultants to integrate design solutions.
  • Ensure timely approvals and design compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

4. Team Mentorship & Collaboration

  • Guide and mentor junior architects and designers in developing high-quality outputs.
  • Foster a collaborative environment across design, project management, and execution teams.
  • Conduct internal design reviews and quality checks.

5. Standards & Innovation

  • Maintain knowledge of global workplace design trends, sustainability, and new materials.
  • Introduce innovative solutions that enhance employee experience and space utilization.
  • Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
  • 8–12 years of experience, with at least 5 years in workplace/corporate interior design.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing large-scale corporate office/workplace projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
  • Excellent client presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities to drive design excellence and project outcomes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹628,219.45 - ₹1,522,227.49 per year
