The Land Acquisition Analyst is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and evaluating land opportunities for potential acquisition or joint ventures. You will conduct due diligence, analyze legal and zoning documents, and maintain a deal pipeline for active land acquisition projects.
Land Identification: Source and identify land parcels for potential acquisition, considering factors such as location, accessibility, and zoning.
Preliminary Due Diligence: Conduct initial checks on the title, zoning, road access, and potential environmental factors of land parcels.
Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Review legal documents and ensure land acquisition complies with local regulations and zoning laws.
Market Research & Feasibility: Conduct market analysis to assess the feasibility and financial viability of identified land parcels.
Deal Structuring: Support the structuring of land deals and joint ventures through financial modeling, market analysis, and site assessments.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on land acquisitions, including deal progress, risks, and opportunities.
CRM & Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all land acquisitions in CRM and data management systems.
- Strong research and analytical skills with a keen interest in land development.
- Knowledge of real estate laws, zoning, and market dynamics.
- Ability to think critically and evaluate both qualitative and quantitative aspects of potential land deals.
- Proficient in Excel, CRM tools, and other data management platforms.
