Laboratory Technician

We are a cutting-edge diagnostic facility specializing in instant diagnosis device, delivering over 75 parameters with immediate results. For other tests, we use advanced equipment including CBC Hematology Analyzer and Biochemistry Analyzer. We are committed to providing patients and healthcare providers with accurate, quick, and affordable diagnostics. Position Overview: This is a senior position in a two-person team, responsible for overseeing day-to-day laboratory operations, performing phlebotomy, managing sample flow, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining quality compliance. The role blends hands-on testing with supervisory responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Phlebotomy & Sample Handling Perform venipuncture and finger-prick blood collection following safety protocols. Handle urine and other biological samples as per standard operating procedures. Ensure proper labelling, documentation, and storage of all specimens. Lab Testing & Analysis Operate the HELO MAXX instant diagnosis device for multi-parametric testing. Conduct tests using CBC Hematology Analyzer and Semi-Automatic Biochemistry Analyzer for parameters not available on HELO MAXX. Ensure calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lab instruments. Quality & Compliance Adhere to NABL, ISO 13485, and internal quality standards. Maintain accurate records, test logs, and quality control charts. Implement and monitor infection control and safety protocols. Team Leadership & Coordination Oversee the work of the junior lab staff and guide them in day-to-day activities. Coordinate with doctors, clinics, and patients for smooth lab operations. Manage workload distribution, ensuring timely delivery of reports. Customer Interaction Explain test procedures and results to patients (as per policy). Ensure courteous, professional, and empathetic patient handling. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma / Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT / BMLT). Minimum 3–5 years of experience in phlebotomy and lab operations. Proficiency in operating diagnostic equipment including hematology and biochemistry analyzers. Knowledge of multi-parametric testing devices (experience with HELO MAXX preferred). Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Work Schedule: Full-time, 6 days a week.
