Assist veterinarians in diagnosing animal illnesses through lab results. Store and manage biological samples adhering to regulations. Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to safety guidelines. Prepare reagents and solutions as per prescribed formulas. Collaborate with veterinary staff to enhance treatment and care for patients. Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy in test results. Provide support in research-related laboratory procedures. Stay updated with the latest laboratory technologies and practices. Train and mentor junior lab staff as needed. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to process improvements. Qualifications Degree in Veterinary Technology, Animal Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a lab technician, preferably in a veterinary setting. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
