Key Roles & Responsibilities

Documentation & Compliance

• Create and maintain all documentation related to R&D lab equipment in line with lab guidelines and quality requirements.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date records for equipment usage, maintenance, and calibration.
  

Equipment Calibration

• Coordinate with calibration partners to manage calibration of all lab equipment as per schedule.
• Maintain detailed calibration records and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Review calibration schedules regularly to ensure consistent equipment performance.
  

Calibration Report Review

• Review and validate calibration reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify discrepancies and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
• Provide data-driven analysis and recommendations to senior quality staff.
  

Internal Lab Audits

• Plan and conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Document findings, recommend improvements, and support implementation of corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities for lab processes.
  

Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform functional checks before and after calibration.
• Coordinate and perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, collaborating with technicians or calibration partners as needed.
• Maintain an updated equipment maintenance log.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: B.Tech / B.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in equipment calibration, report review, lab audits, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory standards for calibration and lab compliance.
• Proficiency with calibration tools, MS Office, and interpreting technical manuals.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
