Role Description

edit high-quality, engaging, and trend-driven short-form videos

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing

• Edit 7–14 short-form videos per week across multiple client accounts.
• Add subtitles, transitions, b-roll, animations, and branding elements.
• Maintain platform-specific formatting (IG Reels, YT Shorts, TikTok, LinkedIn).

Creative Input

• Support Writers & Senior Editor by bringing scripts to life visually.
• Suggest edits, creative effects, and style improvements aligned with client brand.
• Stay updated with trending editing styles, meme formats, and transitions.

Client Brand Consistency

• Ensure videos match each client’s tone, personality, and brand guidelines.
• Apply proper brand colors, fonts, and templates consistently.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with Senior Editor, Writers, and Operations Manager.
• Adapt quickly to feedback and improve turnaround speed.
• Contribute to building the agency’s internal editing library & SOPs.

Timely Delivery

• Meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with proper prioritization.

Key Qualifications:

Education:

Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience in video editing.
• Internship/freelance experience in editing short-form content is a plus.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve / CapCut Desktop.
• Strong sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling in short-form content.
• Familiarity with sound design, color correction, and motion graphics basics.
• Knowledge of social media formats, trends, and engagement styles.
• Ability to handle bulk edits quickly while maintaining quality.
