Role Overview:

You will be the creative engine behind Ashtag’s content. From raw footage to scroll-stopping edits, you’ll transform ideas into stories that inspire, influence, and go viral.

This is a high-ownership role that blends technical skill, design sense, and trend awareness — ideal for someone who can balance speed with quality while bringing bold ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities:

How your day looks like:

• Edit and assemble video footage into compelling stories
• Add graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance storytelling
• Design thumbnails and visual assets aligned with branding
• Collaborate with creators and content teams to bring ideas to life
• Ensure quality, consistency, and platform-fit edits
• Incorporate feedback and refine deliverables quickly
• Stay updated with the latest editing and social media trends
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines

Great to Have:

• Basic knowledge in handling camera and set-up
• Great people handling skills

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1 to 2+ years of experience in content creation, editing roles (agency/startup preferred)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (written & verbal)
• Proficient in Premiere Pro
• Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other graphic tools
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with an eye for aesthetics and visual flow
• Adaptable — comfortable with quick changes and client feedback
• Trend-aware — knows what works on Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
• Bias for clarity, speed, and ownership
