Junior System Administrator

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and technically strong Junior System Administrator with 3–4 years of experience to support our internal and client-facing IT operations. You will work closely under the Senior System Administrator to manage systems, networks, IT support, client interactions, and VoIP-related setups. This is a fully onsite role based in Gurgaon.

Key ResponsibilitiesInternal IT & System Support

• Assist the Senior System Administrator with daily IT operations
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux systems, desktops, laptops, and office hardware
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for employees
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and security policies (Active Directory, email, etc.)
• Maintain system security, antivirus updates, and patch management
• Support installation/configuration of routers, switches, Wi-Fi, printers, and peripherals
• Maintain IT documentation (asset inventory, SOPs, network diagrams)

Client Handling & Client Support

• Provide technical support to clients regarding system, network, and IT-related issues
• Assist clients with troubleshooting, onboarding, access setup, and environment configuration
• Maintain clear communication with clients and ensure timely resolution of issues
• Coordinate with the Senior System Admin for escalated or complex client requirements
• Document client issues and resolutions for reference and reporting

VoIP & Communication Systems

• Support setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of VoIP systems
• Manage VoIP phones, extensions, call routing, SIP configurations (basic level)
• Coordinate with service providers for VoIP-related requirements or outages

General Responsibilities

• Monitor server and network performance and report issues to Senior System Admin
• Ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding with proper IT setups
• Support data backup processes, restore procedures, and system upgrades
• Provide fast and effective IT support to internal teams and clients

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience as a System Administrator or IT Support Engineer
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux basics, Active Directory
• Hands-on experience with DNS, DHCP, VPN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi networks
• Experience in client handling and providing remote/on-site client support
• Understanding of VoIP technologies (SIP, softphones, call flow basics)
• Knowledge of endpoint security tools & basic cybersecurity practices
• Familiarity with backup tools and monitoring systems
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with Office 365
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Certifications: CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA A+/Network+, or similar
• Experience with IT ticketing systems and IT asset management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
