Junior Sous Chef

As a Junior Sous Chef at Le Royale Palace, you will play a crucial role in our culinary team. Your primary responsibility will be managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring top-notch food preparation, and upholding kitchen standards. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook dishes in your assigned section (grill, saut, pastry, etc.). - Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet hotel standards. - Supervise and train junior kitchen staff and commis chefs. - Maintain hygiene and safety standards in compliance with regulations. - Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management. - Coordinate with other kitchen sections for smooth service. - Follow recipes, portion controls, and cost management guidelines. Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef in a hotel or fine-dining restaurant. - Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards. - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Leadership skills with a team-oriented mindset. - Passion for high-quality cooking and presentation. - Language Skills: Tamil, English, and Hindi speakers strongly preferred. - Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
