Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Software Engineer. The position involves contributing to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions, with a focus on back-end web development, programming, and software systems. Day-to-day tasks include writing code, debugging, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery. The Junior Software Engineer will also support initiatives to enhance existing functionalities and solve complex technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles and practices
• Experience with Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Ability to analyze complex problems and design efficient solutions
• Effective communication and team collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Experience with defense or AI geospatial technology is a plus
• Familiarity with secure software development practices is an advantage
