Junior Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and working knowledge of AutoCAD. You will assist in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD for construction and infrastructure projects.
• Support senior engineers in site planning, estimation, and cost analysis.
• Utilize Excel for data entry, calculations, project scheduling, and progress tracking.
• Help in the preparation of BOQs (Bill of Quantities), tender documents, and reports.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other team members to execute projects efficiently.
• Review and interpret civil engineering drawings and documents.
• Perform basic structural calculations and assist in quality control and material testing (under supervision).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data management, formulas, basic VBA is a plus).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D drafting; 3D is a plus).
• Basic understanding of structural mechanics, materials, surveying, and construction techniques.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
