Job Description

The Sales Executive will be responsible for executing the Sales Budget and achieving sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction in the lighting industry. This role requires a deep understanding of the lighting market and the ability to build and maintain key customer relationships. Assisting the Territory Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager in Channel Partner Development and Retention for Dealer and Distribution is a key strategic responsibility. Implementing signage, display, and branding of Lafit at Retail Outlets is crucial for maintaining a dynamic presence in the market. Identifying and targeting new business opportunities within the state, expanding the customer base, and ensuring effective coverage and penetration of the market by the sales team are essential for market development. Managing sales operations within allocated markets / Area, including pricing, contract negotiations, and order processing, is an operational duty. Additionally, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, results, and forecasts, coordinating with other departments for seamless operations, monitoring sales targets, and proactive steps to ensure achievement are part of the role. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, resolving customer issues and concerns, staying abreast of industry trends, collaborating with the product development team, and ensuring lighting solutions meet market demands are crucial for customer relationship management and industry expertise. Qualifications required for this role include an MBA in Sales and Marketing, Master's degree in Engineering (preferred), certification in MS Office and AI tools, and proficiency in operating Automated Tools / Software. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in Sales (Lighting Industry preferred) with at least 1+ years of experience in FMEG (Fast Moving Electrical Goods). Desired skills include being a strong go-getter, conflict management and problem-solving ability, good analytical and decision-making skills, effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
